The Sirius Report Has Been Under A DDoS Attack

We have become aware that we have been under a DDoS attack whereby the CPU usage spiked around 20 fold in the blink of an eye. We are now dealing with this matter technically and we are also aware of who is responsible but are unable to comment on that for obvious reasons. However if the site should subsequently go down then that will be the reason why.

  1. Is this why I cannot access Today’s The Sirius Report? You have made it hard to get in! I feel I have to jump through several hoops to get in and then start all over again.

    • Hi Lea,

Unfortunately, due to this attack we have had to amp up our security measures. We apologise if this has affected your ability to access the podcasts. Have you been able to log in yet or are you still having problems?

    • It seems that upon logging in, users are now automatically being redirected to their profile page. To access the podcasts, please click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar.

  2. I am being asked continually to do math to prove I am not a bot. Once is enough. I cannot get in. Just keeps asking to solve msghssu

  3. If you're taking flak, you're over the target.

Users need to be patient with this kind of thing - it's a PITA but it's not the site's fault.

  4. The Sirius report website seems to be prone to crashing when using Safari, Firefox appears to be the better choice
